A flowing workout, either in basic format or using various balls, sliders, bands or circle. Rhythmic choreographed combos with music are also included on occasions (mixed level).
Upper & lower body strength & tone using hand weights and Step. It includes intervals of lower body (Squats , lunges and Plies) with upper body weights, and a combination of both.
A top to toe stretching ritual/sequence using the Reformer, band and roller. Fascial releases are included in the contemporary stretching techniques. You will feel super relaxed and calm, post-session.
Inspired by the dancers barre, the focus is on general tone, strength, muscle elongation, body alignment, posture, grace and flexibility. A cardio element, upper body core strength and strong gluteal muscle challenge is included in the workouts.
A great challenging workout for the end of the week, for all round body tone and strong core strength. A fascial release element is included. Not recommended for the beginner.
The reformer is a brilliant accompaniment and extension to your regular mat work. The resistance of the springs build strength, tone, flexibility and control. These sessions are pre-booked to accommodate four clients per session. Entry to these sessions require some experience in mat work.
Bookings are made via the Studio Bookings app: Pam Hammond Studios.
Entry to a Pilates class is only permitted if a client has had an assessment with Pam, or if a client has had previous experience elsewhere and has a Health History clearance with Pam.
