Our pilates studio is situated in the beautiful village of Franschhoek, in the heart of the Cape Winelands in the Western Cape.

A unique environment that caters for a diverse clientele, from post-rehabilitation, general fitness, to athletic sports

Pilates is the fundamental component to all the physical programmes offered in the studio. All the weekly programmes offered in the studio are designed in a way to create balance in all aspects of physical and mental fitness.

What We Offer

Improve posture by restoring the natural curves of the spine, develop kinaesthetic awareness of the body, and enhances performance for other physical activities, functional fitness, and weight control.

We offer various classes For Any Level, From Beginners to Advanced.

Pilates

The Studio is fully equipped with contemporary Pilates apparatus and a numerous variety of smaller props. The group and one-on-one programmes are customised for beginners through to advanced levels.

Life Coaching

A thought provoking and creative process that assists in empowering individuals to achieve their potential. Our progressive approach is future focused and contributes greatly to the individual’s physical as well as mental well-being.

Teacher training

Courses for trainee teachers who have completed their training courses and desire extra tuition to sharpen their skills, or prepare them for their final exams. Newly qualified teachers are also welcome. Shadowing classes and opportunities to practice with real clients can be arranged in the studio.

About Pam Hammond

Following an initial career in the Medical Research field Pam certified as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with the American Council of Exercise (ACE, USA). As a certified Education Provider for ACE, Pam also became a national presenter for Choreography for Dance Exercise in South Africa. She was awarded Fitness Instructor of the year in the 1990’s. Pam has managed several Fitness studios, both in South Africa and Dubai. She then expanded her horizons qualifying as a certified Pilates instructor in Cape Town. She presently runs a successful studio in Franschhoek in the Western Cape, South Africa.

Pam has more than 30 years extensive experience in the Fitness industry. She is also involved in helping new teachers hone their skills, by creating a perfect environment for them to practice in.
Pam is also a professional Life Coach. Her practice involves a structured process that facilitates and inspires personal growth and performance. Pam holds a BSc Honours degree in Psychology and a post-graduate Certificate in Life Coaching.

Pam’s style is viewed as eclectic and practical. The overriding aspiration in her passion for her work is to promote the ongoing benefits of mind-body fitness, and more particularly, to fulfil the needs of each individual to become their very best.
